The garden at my Arts Club in London has always had a soft spot for my memories. My first visit to the club was memorable because I was fed artichoke petals dipped in butter lying on the lawn. Sipping wine and being fussed over, this experience made me fall in love with the garden… The alcoves and shaded areas can be magical. Lovers can sit, talk and watch people arriving into the garden.
