Invitation to work in Ichihara, Chiba prefecture, Japan to create a sculpture for Ichihara Art Mix . The theme of this exhibition is ‘Journeys’ . I decided to make a sculpture for a wagon at Goi Station.
The title of the project is ‘Manmade’ . I thought of this title because the sculpture is made by a woman, the conversation is also about the products made from our environment – oil, asphalt, metal, the carriages/ vehicles we build, cars, things for our journey.
